/about
I build the agents. Then I write down what worked.
Robin van Veen is the founder of Arcgent. He helps companies become AI-native, process by process, and shares what he builds with AI agents and Claude Code in public.

Most AI agents look great in a demo and stop working in production. It's rarely the model.
It's the unglamorous part: a documented process, logs, fallbacks, and a human checkpoint on the decisions that matter. That's the part I focus on.
I do that through Arcgent. We make companies AI-native one process at a time: map how the business really works, design the systems and a roadmap, then build, roll out and keep improving them. Clients keep their own accounts, data and agents.
I also run my own company on these systems. Claude Code manages my tasks, prepares my meetings and drafts my email. What I learn ends up here, in the newsletter and on LinkedIn.
/framework
The 4 layers of AI adoption.
- /01
Chat AI
People use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini by hand. A human types, the model answers, the human checks.
- /02
Agentic working
Skills, projects and structured workflows. The model knows your context, so the same person gets far more done.
- /03
Semi-autonomous
Workflows run on schedules and triggers. The agent does the repetitive work and asks a human to approve what matters.
- /04
Fully autonomous
A connected AI operating system that runs end to end and reports back. Humans step in when something breaks.
Most companies sit on layer 1. The work is moving one process at a time to the next layer, starting with the one that pays back first. How to pick that process.
